Monologue of longing
Monologue of Longing is an essay that delicately and poetic addresses the sadness of the present caused by the absence of someone who has already passed.
The creative effort is symbolic of my experience as a daughter, accompanying my father through the grieving process after my mother's death.
In this essay, I sought to compose sentimental and personally symbolic objects within the scenes, inserting them poetically to also honor my mother's memory, culminating in images that evoke a feeling of absence, loneliness, and melancholy—triggered by the most difficult aspect of the human experience—death.
