After the Rain

After the Rain is a documentary project that aims to narrate the experiences of people affected by the floods that struck Rio Grande do Sul in 2024. The images and testimonies collected so far intertwine past and present, revealing not only the scars of destruction but, above all, the resilience of the people. The project follows families and communities still in the process of rebuilding — some still living in temporary housing, others struggling to recover amid emotional and financial hardship. Between painful memories and the hope for a possible future, this work offers a sensitive look at human resilience in the face of the climate crisis, documenting stories that cry out for dignity, care, and collective memory.
